I'm the ZBB PP. What event is this? It sounds great!! FWIW I've seen Keith Urban and he's awesome in concert. Maybe it was just an off night for ZBB. |
| ^^Joe Walsh's Vet's Aid. Sept 20 at Eagle Bank (?) or whatever GMU arena is called now. With ZBB, KU & Gary Clark Jr. With a promised guitar hero mashup at the end. Hope it's good. |
I saw him 20 years ago back home in Delaware. It was a free show and the crowd was Huge. We had a blast. We also saw KC and the sunshine Band there. That was also fun. I only saw Bruce once in 99, but yes, that show was amazing! |
Yes, that was it. It was my first and only madonna show. Ugh, she was into the weird electronica mess and didn't play much of her popular music. And the stage show was just fracking bizarre. I wish I'd been old enough for blonde ambition-that's the madonna I would have rather seen. |

Prince at Madison Square Garden in 2011
Fleetwood Mac at Verizon Center in 2014 Neil Young, MIA, Sigur Ros, LCD Soundsystem, Sonic Youth, Thurston Moore, My Bloody Valentine, Arcade Fire in SF 2007 - 2008 |
Yes. The Saturdays=Youth tour was great. |
| A Tribe Called Quest in Atlanta circa 2006. Puff Daddy came out about 3/4 through the show and was booed! |
| So I just saw punch brothers last night and it was pretty spectacular. |
| A secret, all ages show at a small venue in Nashville because the kids in the crowd were INTO IT and so was the band. |
1984 at the Cap Center! I was there. |
| I stumbled in Keith Urban while searching for great guitar players about 10 years ago. I've now seen him live many times and he is amazing live. And I don't listen to country radio. |
| I said Prince earlier (2004 Musicology tour!) but give an honorable mention to Lauryn Hill in 1999. I know she's fallen way off and her concerts are notorious in a bad way now but she was amazing in her prime. I really wish she would get it together. |

Arcade Fire
Coldplay Taylor Swift All great shows, for different reasons |
| U2 Joshua Tree tour. The 1987 show was as good as the 2017 show but for different reasons. |
|
Such a good question OP. I go to a lot, even since having kids we try to do at least 3-5 a year, which I guess includes some smaller venue shows.
I don;t know what I would pick, but I'll go see even bands I've never heard of if I like the opening act, I love concerts. |
