Yeah, when I called yesterday, they said that they would post the results today. But, after reading the posts here, I wasn't hopeful. I guess they were trying to temper expectations.

Wow, we are >350. The few and the proud I guess. Forget you, LAMB.

Here's the link. Ack...we just made the top 50%....which means nothing. Well, at least I know where I stand and can switch focus to MySchool results and planning for the alternative.

For those following, it sounds like #s 1-27 are in for PK3 (just basing off what previous poster at the live event stated). And 1-5 are in for PK4? Seems like they don't let the winners fully rest, though...you have to sweat it out to find out it if you're at Missouri or SD. Congrats to all who are in and good luck to those just outside of the cutoffs.

Similar situations have occurred at Beauvoir, GDS, Sidwell, Oyster, etc. LAMB is a fantastic school where one bad apple did a very bad thing. If anything, the situation makes me questions the MPD's investigative skills. However, I'm even willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. The problem with these predators is that they're very sneaky. Also, LAMB is doing a total review of its policies due to this incident. I'm sure that by next school year it will be one of the safest schools (just like flying on an airline after one of its planes crashed).

Emphasis added. The privilege these HRCS parents think they share with the upper middle classes is astonishing.

Thank you. I haven't had a spit out my coffee laugh at the internet in a long time.

Classy. As an upper middle class parent, perhaps an etiquette class might be something to look into.

Let me be clear. I was not laughing with this person. AT ALL. I was laughing at the absolute absurdity and awfulness of the statement.

70s for PK4. I don't think we'll have to make the call of switching to LAMB.

Do they update their webpage as the waitlist moves? Or do you have to call to check where you are throughout the summer?

Last year they crossed names off as they worked through the list.

Anyone know how far down the list they went last year??? In the 80s for PK3.

Holy crap. PK3 waitlist goes all the way to 643. When we applied two years ago, I think the highest number was just over or under 500. The DC baby boom booms on!

We're 20 for PreK4 (were in the 200s last year for PreK3 and completely shut out of common lottery). Anyone know how far they moved last year for this grade?

Last year wasn't really a good example as it was a year they expanded and opened? a new class. That being said, I think it went into the 30s or 40s last year for PK4.

Correct, last year they added a classroom environment after the initial lottery draw.

There are two campuses. How are kids allotted to each campus? If one gets a high lottery number, do they get to choose?
