Skirts with bare legs, and it's 18 degrees.

Me too!

And I don't make my kids wear coats. My 6 yo loves shorts and I totally let him wear them most of the time. I get so many comments from people to which I say "you know, He looks awfully happy to me."

We all feel cold in different ways. Real talk, I don't notice what it is you are wearing or not wearing.

Yeah you do.

No. I really don't.

OK 1) you are on a fashion threat which makes me believe you do notice and care what others wear, so cut the crap. and 2) if you are that unobservant, it's not a good thing.

1. I generally scroll through recent topics and pay little attention to the the forum to which the thread belongs. Also, I pay attention to how I dress and generally try to look polished and be comfortable. I figure that's what most others are doing too...

I don't ever see this on anyone older than 21. I do, however, see bros wearing shorts in the winter all the time, like "wut? I'm not cold!" Idiots.

this thread is a great example of how we as women are our own worst enemies. 5 pages to tear down women for dressing in whatever way they feel most comfortable temperature wise... congrats ladies

If I had great legs I'd do it. Not sure
I'd do it for business attire during the day. But going out at night. Yes.

Ivanka does it.

I don't do it, would freeze to death and turn blue, but if other people want to go bare legged in freezing weather it's up to them.

If they inconvenience me by wanting the work thermostat on 80, because they are too fashion forward to wear enough clothing, then that does affect me. And, they need to keep a blanket in their office to cover their cold legs, etc...

I feel cold starting with my torso and head and shoulders. Bare legs would not make me cold. At least not indoors. Outdoors for a long period of time - of course. But this look is for someone whose not commuting on the metro etc. this is a more glamorous look. I say if you can rock it go for it gotta have nice legs though.

People condemn every and anything that are out of ordinary. Go ahead, you are entitled to your feelings. But you are only hurting yourselves for other people's choices.

Lighten up, it's a cute look. They probably have a fancy lunch or dinner date and want to be nice looking at the events.

She'd look more polished with pantyhose.

Right! Unless someone is ripping the pants or tights from your legs and making you go bare against your wishes, who cares?

She would look like an old lady who didn't know that no one wears pantyhose anymore.

Op, don't complain! it's very easy for us to look better than other women, by just wearing stockings.

Are you being purposefully obtuse? No, that is not the point. The point is that some women follow ridiculous fashion trends at the expense of their health. As much as you want to cry that you are comfortable with nothing on your lower extremities, im not buying it. And it looks stupid and unprofessional. No one is "tearing anyone down". We are discussing fashion trends.
