Y'all are legitimately crazy for spending 3 pages so far judging the clothing choices of others. If you're cold, dress in a manner that keeps you warm, but don't act like someone else has to feel the same way just because you do. I used to work at the Senate - my office was in the Dirksen building - and it was like hell in there. I dealt with the brief cold outside so I could be comfortable for 10 hours of my day inside. If you're looking and judging, guess what? IDGAF I don't dress for you, I dress for myself and my own comfort, and I was hardly the only person who dressed this way because of how sweltering hot they kept it in there.

Newsflash: it looks just as stupid inside this time of year.

I am not old (38) but I swear my generation and younger have no concept that you are RARELY dressing for yourself. Sure, you can be naive and think that you do, but the reality is that you dress to be perceived a certain way. Or at least you SHOULD. Bare legs in this weather does seem a little crazy to me. But I also think pantyhose in the summer are crazy too.

I definitely like wearing tights in the winter, I actually look forward to being able to cover up my pale legs!
