Yes. This. |

I'm older than 44 and I'd rather die than wear pantyhose.
I'd wear pants if it was cold out, though. I hate the cold. But, also, my legs don't really get that cold. If my hands and feet are covered and I have a hat on, I'm not going to feel as cold as I would with pants on, but no gloves. That's just how my body works. I'm a runner and it honestly doesn't affect me much what I wear on the bottom of my body. I wear capris in the summer when everyone else is in little running shorts. Doesn't matter. My legs don't really get that hot or that cold. Also, there's a huge problem when someone is judging women and their intellect based on their lack of wearing pantyhose. Can you really tell me that putting on a super sheer layer of nylon makes someone THAT much warmer (or that much smarter??) |
No, that's just one of the options. What's stupid is the way people look with hats and gloves on with almost half of their body naked. |
|
Who has time to think about all this? I drive from one garage to another on heated seats and am never in the cold so I might not have on socks or tights if that's not what I am feeling that day. I also assume that adult women know how to moderate their own temperatures so if their legs are bare and it's cold out, that is what they want.
More importantly stop policing people's clothes. Tend to your own business. |
I see these women on the street like walking to and from the metro. How else would I know? When I see them walking down the street all bundled up with scarves and hats, but on the bottom sporting bare legs because of some stupid aversion to hosiery or pants, I do and will think it's stupid. Again, this is the beauty and fashion forum. It's by definition judgy of our fashion choices. |
You live a sheltered life. Must be a suburbanite. |
No, it can and should be a resource like in the publicist post downthread. Stop policing people's clothes and bodies. Dress and rest. |
Dream on.
|
| I wear bare legs year round. It's comfortable. my legs don't feel cold unless I'm skiing or playing in snow. for a half hour walk? no problem. |
Me too! And I don't make my kids wear coats. My 6 yo loves shorts and I totally let him wear them most of the time. I get so many comments from people to which I say "you know, He looks awfully happy to me." We all feel cold in different ways. Real talk, I don't notice what it is you are wearing or not wearing. |
Yeah you do. |
Nope. I live and work in the city. Get your money up and you can get off the Metro and ride in heated confort too. Then your eyes will never have to accosted by these women with bare legs minding their own business. |
Good for you. Anybody who doesnt like it can look away. Non-Problem solved |
No. I really don't. |
OK 1) you are on a fashion threat which makes me believe you do notice and care what others wear, so cut the crap. and 2) if you are that unobservant, it's not a good thing. |
