North Carolina and Transgender Bathrooms

I love that the same people who argue that "if you outlaw guns, only outlaws will have guns" want to outlaw people walking into an unlocked room and hiding in wait.

Because no man intent on rape would enter a woman's restroom unless he was legally allowed to.

I occasionally see her looking, just out of curiosity what her surroundings are. So does this now mean:

a) I can accompany her into the women's room? Since, it doesn't matter if I have a Y chromosome?
b) I am foolish for wanting to ensure her safety in highway rest stops?

Bear in mind it's not just ensuring safety for many parents, it's hygiene. Kids require constant supervision so that they don't use the bottom of a urinal to balance themselves. Or rub their eyes while walking from the shitter to the sink.

Or you can have her use the family restroom, which is available every NJ Turnpike reststop. SMH.

It'll make it a lot easier when people are afraid to stop a man going into the woman's restroom because he might be "trans"

Yes, all the rapists are waiting patiently for bathroom laws to be implemented in their state so they can put on dresses and go on a rape spree in public restrooms.

Because of those laws you cannot kick out a man trying to access a womens locker room or bathroom. All he has to do is say he is transgendered.

Little boys and girls have been assaulted in bathrooms and locker rooms for as long as there have been bathrooms and locker rooms.

this is not all about just predators. There are perverted voyeurs that know how to stay just from crossing the line. We are not talking about rapists here, merely perverts.

For years feminists have campaigned for safe places for women. Now women are, once again, being shoved to the side in order to protect men.

I'm curious, to women walk around in the bathroom naked? I assume their only undressing inside a stall. Wouldn't it be safer to just have unisex bathrooms with only stalls, no urinals, where there is still privacy but more foot traffic?

Yes, nothing protects women more than a law that says men in drag can't go into the ladies' room.

Honestly, are you people THAT stupid?

Laws like this are very anti-woman.

And it's sure not conservatives doing the deed this time.

Fine, then start lobbying for single stall restrooms everywhere. Problem solved. Of course you have to make sure that some perverted landlord or restaurant owner hasn't installed cameras in the bathrooms, which happens a lot. Perverts are always somewhere.

Why dont you come up with a solution that protects the rights and safety of all bathrooms goers, men, women, transgender men and women, children, handicapped, parents with opposite sex children, babies who need changing tables, etc etc. Offer some solutions, please.

Sure. Separate bathrooms for those who gender identity issues. Otherwise, men and women separate. Simple.

It's not just about toilet stalls.
