Psychological harm! Broken trust, lack of control over what happens to one's body or images of it, etc.

Got it. All inside your head.

I hope I don't know you in real life.

Wow. I am a male and to me this would be a big deal. Taking and distributing nude pictures of someone without their permission should be a crime, if it is not already.

agreed. but if you can't be recognized, what does it really violate?

The fact that you even ask that question is disturbing.

+1 WTF dude!

I think the PP who is supporting the DH might actually be the OP of this thread, and he is also the DH who videotaped his DW and wants to convince himself that what he did was okay.

In that case he needs to post the vid so we can decide how creepy it is.

The harm done is that OP is discovering the husband has a secret. Which means the secret is IMPORTANT to HIM. Which means something is potentially (most likely) going on that violates their understanding between each other about honesty.

After you get over the shock that your body is floating in cyberspace, you need to realize that that image cannot be tied to your identity. At that point, no one really gives a #$%^ anymore. Just another anonymous shower video. What harm does it do to you? Only harm is in your own head.

Just takes 1 person to recognize you for it to ruin your life.

Ruin your life? we're talking about being see nude here. I'm going to wager lots of people have seen your body (docs, nurses, etc)
.

Agree with those who think the DH is posting the devils advocate posts.

DH you need help you asshole. But, you think too highly of yourself to believe that. Your self righteousness and complete lack of empathy are indicative of a serious problem. But you will never know that. I hope your wife dumps your ass as soon as possible. I hope there are no children.

You are a fucking asshole DH. This is so obviously you. Noone here will validate you, because one cannot validate a self absorbed creep with serious issues which he creepily attempts to downplay.

I was upset at first but it ultimately brought us closer together. Don't rush to judgement.

The harm is that someone is stealing from you without permission. If I take an intimate video of you and post it without permission, I have violated your privacy, breached your trust, and sold you out.

What harm does rape really do? Once it's over, it's over. As long as there's no pregnancy, disease, or lasting physical injury, where is the actual harm? All inside the "victim's" head, right?

Right?

There is something inherently violating about having a private image shared without permission from a situation like using the shower or using the toilet, no matter how the situation was to be used. That's why Edward Snowden was right about truly private moments. Those are so valuable, once we lose those, we are truly fucked.

Illegal in many states

The harm is self-inflicted. If you chose not to care, there is no objective harm.
