| If my wife took videos of me, even without my knowledge, and was using them as masturbation fodder, I'd feel flattered and aroused. |
Sounds horrible. I would be pissed. |
| weird |
| Can you give us some more context? Does he do other creepy stuff? Does he hide things? Has he had a head injury recently? |
Really? No one can tie the video to you. It would be like the 10000 other videos floating on the web each day. Still pissed? |
| Ew. |
Wow. I am a male and to me this would be a big deal. Taking and distributing nude pictures of someone without their permission should be a crime, if it is not already. |
agreed. but if you can't be recognized, what does it really violate? |
The fact that you even ask that question is disturbing. |
That's not an answer to the question though. I agree that it feels like a violation, but I supposed that I'd be hard pressed to defend that feeling as rational given that the assumption in PPs question is "you can't be recognized." |
| No one has come up with any good valid reasons why this is so bad. After you get over the shock that your body is floating in cyberspace, you need to realize that that image cannot be tied to your identity. At that point, no one really gives a #$%^ anymore. Just another anonymous shower video. What harm does it do to you? Only harm is in your own head. |
NP here. The biggest issue would be breach of trust. |
People can be recognized in ways other than their face ... body marks, background of video, location tags on video, etc. This is definitely creepy, and could even be criminal. |
He probably did it so she can't divorce him. He could just use it to blackmail her and say if you ever leave me I will send this to everyone we know . Such a jerk |
Just takes 1 person to recognize you for it to ruin your life. |
