Do you wear make-up every day?

What foundation, if any, do you use? I'm always trying to find a barely noticeable foundation. The ones I've tried seem so heavy.

Try a tinted moisturizer with sunscreen or a BB cream. I think actual "foundation" is very dated. Most women I know wear the lighter versions I mentioned and see them partially as skin care. For high end look at Bobbi Brown's tinted moisturizer, for cheaper choice try Neutrogena's BB cream. I use both and love both. The BB cream is slightly heavier.

I do think everyone needs a little color on their faces (tinted sunscreen is perfect) and I have never met anyone who looks as good without mascara as they do with it. AS for lips, during a normal day, a colored gloss is also all you really need - not too shiny/goopy but with a bit of natural color. And, if you have super oily skin like I do, a little powder never hurts. I only use blush and eyeshadow for evenings out. A bit of bronzer though is nice and can double as a light powder.

I love make up but it has to be done correctly. It should merely enhance your natural features never mask or change them.

You need to get out more. A lot of foundations are downright fabulous now.

I started wearing eye makeup every day a few years ago in my early 30s (I'm 35 now). I don't know why I didn't before -- I love how it looks. Just mascara alone makes me look way more awake and alert and put together. So: Mascara every day; light eyeliner most days; a neutral eyeshadow occasionally. I also wear lipstick daily and have pretty much since college. Lately I've found a sheer tinted bb moisturizer/sunscreen that I love (Aveeno, if you're curious) and I've been wearing that daily for a couple weeks. It's not as heavy as foundation but it does smooth things out and helps keep my skin clearer.

This whole "regime" takes me roughly 2-3 minutes in the morning, and maybe the same to wash my face in the evening. I don't have the patience for longer.

Seriously. My Laura Mercier foundation is awesome!

Yes, everyday. It's very light, but if I don't wear it, I look tired. I wear - eyeliner, light eyeshadow and mascara - sometimes a tinted lip balm, but not always.

When I get dressed up, I go darker on the eye make up and add powder/foundation and lipstick.

I just don't see the point.

No, 37, none at all daily. Sometimes on special occasions.

Several people have made several points as to why there is a point...

I'll be 40 this fall.
I wear concealer and mascara every day. Even if I'm going hiking or to the grocery store. Then I wear tinted lip balm (like Burt's Bees) to work each day.

I never used to, but when I was in my early 20s I wore mascara one day, and I received an insane amount of compliments. I didn't see a difference at all in the mirror, but I guess it was apparent to everyone else (I'm fair and blonde, which may make a difference). So I try and make more of an effort now.

Yes. Almost every day. (Not weekends when im in the garden orchores) Primer, dust wih powder foundation, bronzed, blush. Mascara and light neutral eyeshadow to cover veins above eyes. I'm 33 and it makes me look fresher and does not look like I'm wearing makeup. Takes 2 minutes.

Turning 40 in a few months, and no. I used to wear mascara every day, then got out of the habit. Sometimes, I put on tinted lip balm. I WOH.

Yep- pretty much every day, even if I'm not doing anything. I wear tinted moisturizer, blush/bronzer and eyebrow powder and mascara on my otherwise invisible brows and lashes.

Most days, yes. Eyeliner, mascara and blush at least. BB Cream and eyeshadow for work. Lip gloss/stick.

every day i leave the house. for work, light foundation, eye liner, mascara, a touch of shadow, bit of blush. weekend tinted moisturizer, blush, mascara. lip gloss always. my skin in blotchy and uneven and i just feel polished and better about myself.

Tinted moisturizer and tinted lip balm. No one at work wears makeup, so I feel odd doing anything else.
