Do you wear make-up every day?

And clothes are completely artificial.

Yes, I usually do. I have very dark circles, so I usually slap a little concealer on and some neutral lipstick. That's usually the bare minimum for me, although today I just flat out forgot.

Won't get arrested being makeup free in public........

No mascara? Seriously? That is so weird. Start wearing mascara - if I saw someone wearing a full face of makeup, including eyeliner (and lip liner? Really? It's not the 80's) but no mascara, I'd assume she forgot to apply it. It looks so unfinished.

I'm not usually one of the judgmental people on here, but that just strikes me as so strange.

Is that a bad thing?

It can be, because you looked tired and dumpy.

Depends on what her natural lashes are like and how heavy the eyeliner application is.

And some people actually know how to choose a lipliner color and apply it so that it doesn't create a visible ring around the lips.

Yes, every day, except the occasional Sunday when I know I won't be leaving the house. I feel and look 100 times better with makeup on. And yes, I do think it adds polish and contributes to looking professional. I'm 31.

During the work week: yes. On the weekends: no. I once ran into a coworker on a Saturday and CVS who asked me if I was sick. Nope, just not wearing makeup. I'm 35.

I envy those who look good without!

There is a difference between make-up that enhances features and makes you more beautiful in a natural way, and heavy make-up that makes you look like a clown.

There was a study (don't ask me to find it), where women who wore a little make-up were perceived as being more professional and better at their job than women who wore none or too much.

Everyday I throw on a tinted moisturizer/sunscreen and a quick swipe of mascara to liven up my eyes. I'm a nurse so no need to wear makeup on the job. Always have some Eos lip balm in my pocket since the air on the floor always dries my lips out.

If I'm going out with friends, shopping, lunch, etc I might throw on some colored lip gloss or something.

Date night with DH and we are dressing up I"ll usually add some blush and maybe some shimmery eye shadow.

Every single day

What foundation, if any, do you use? I'm always trying to find a barely noticeable foundation. The ones I've tried seem so heavy.

I wear natural make up everyday. I don't feel like I have to, but it makes a big difference. Just turned 40. Professional working from home most days. Two small kids.

I wear very light makeup daily. BB cream, mascara, and cherry chapstick. I'm a SAHM.

Yes, I do. I just feel so blah without makeup. It's not heavy, but it makes me feel put together and ready to tackle anything.

Try a tinted moisturizer with sunscreen or a BB cream. I think actual "foundation" is very dated. Most women I know wear the lighter versions I mentioned and see them partially as skin care. For high end look at Bobbi Brown's tinted moisturizer, for cheaper choice try Neutrogena's BB cream. I use both and love both. The BB cream is slightly heavier.

I do think everyone needs a little color on their faces (tinted sunscreen is perfect) and I have never met anyone who looks as good without mascara as they do with it. AS for lips, during a normal day, a colored gloss is also all you really need - not too shiny/goopy but with a bit of natural color. And, if you have super oily skin like I do, a little powder never hurts. I only use blush and eyeshadow for evenings out. A bit of bronzer though is nice and can double as a light powder.

I love make up but it has to be done correctly. It should merely enhance your natural features never mask or change them.
