I have had a "extra-terrestrial" visit from a dead in-law, and haven't told anybody. WWYD?

You still aren't making any sense. Do you think it would be worth it to get checked out by a doctor?

Ha ha! Good to ward off those clowns!

I'll give you an example. Let's say your family has a huge fear of clowns. A rational fear, because someone in the family had an experience with clowns in the past, and the entire family is quite afraid of them.

Then imagine that 5 or 10 clowns invade your home while you are sleeping, freak out one of your kids so much, that he or she kills themself. And perhaps burns down the house in the process.

Get it now?

I really don't. Are you saying that something that's happening in your real lives is manifesting itself in dreams? That is VERY normal.

Something that is happening in our real lives that turns into a catastrophe for our family, in my dream. In which my dead cousin-in-law shows me that my Carbon Monoxide detector is not working. Followed by a POD company calling, -- yes, asking for a credit card number--, and confirming the time and *correct* address for delivery, stating that he was told by my dead cousin-in-law that we were needing to move right away.

My initial response was, "Why the hell do we need to move, and were are we supposed to be going?!" His response: "Look Lady, I'm just calling you back to confirm deliver, and get a payment of payment from you". And yes - it's a valid company who delivers PODS.

So did you get the CO detectors replaced? Open all the windows and air the place out.

I was kind of with you at the start but you have lost me with your responses...

this thread is awesome

Dear God. OP here. That should have read, "get a method of payment from you".

Yeah, OP is a troll. She refers several times about her husband's cousin's "tragic accident" death which happened two years ago, but won't mention how. Seems like a weird bit of info to hold back...like something to hold back if you want to draw people in more to your charade.

OMG are you fucking dense?! Use clowns as a synonym for something else!!

OP, you are having some sort of psychotic break picking fights with PPs and whatnot. Get off the damn internet.

Agreed. OP, I think you should consider getting checked out. 1. dreaming about something catastrophic happening based off something going on in your life is a normal dream to have. 2. Subconscious probably knew something was going on with the detector, hence why your cousin in law led you to it. 3. suffering from CO poisoning might explain your confusion with the POD

Sorry OP but you're making less and less sense and I really think you should be checked out.

What does the way he died have anything to do with this?

I'm more worried that OP might be for real and that there is actually something wrong with her that she should get checked out for. I'd be happy if she was just a troll.

Someone is scamming you. Maybe that's what you're being warned about in your dream.

Check your credit report.

Someone has committed identity theft and is using your dead cousin's identity. Happens all the time. Check his records, social security number, etc. I would not be at all surprised if someone is out there using your cousin's name with a whole wallet full of credit cards in his name. Trying to get you to pay for a POD was just part of the scam.
