I have had a "extra-terrestrial" visit from a dead in-law, and haven't told anybody. WWYD?

For the past 3 nights, I have had extremely weird, out of this world experience type of dreams, that have involved my husband's recently passed away (young, in a tragic accident) death.

The dreams that I have been having (and only one of them was I actually asleep - the other 2 I had fallen asleep on the couch) were not at all about my DH's cousin's death - but about his warning ME our OUR impending death.

Two nights ago, I dreamed - and this is where I was on the couch, had dozed off, all the lights in the house downstairs on...he had taken my hand and told me "I show you this NOT because I am trying to protect you or warn you against Carbon Monoxide poisoning, but because I am trying to show you that I am HERE, with you, and I am trying to protect you from future harm, which has nothing to do with carbon monoxide, and this is the only way I know how to prove to you that I am REALLY HERE.

I woke up that morning, went to check on our carbon monoxide (rather expensive digital, new detector), and it was totally and completely non-functional.

The things that gets me is, in my dreams, after he showed me the dysfunctional carbon monoxide detector, he showed me -- what I believe to be, an impending death in our family (involving my children), that I am feeling like he is trying to help us prevent? Basically - after he "showed" me the defective CO detector, and felt that (the following night) I was troubled (which meant he knew I felt like, maybe he REALLY was there) he proceeded to "show" me what he was there to really warn me against.

I can't even recount what was "shown" to me, in my dream/altered realtity (I wasn't really asleep). To even depict some of the details of what I "saw" -- I can't do it. I'm literally hyperventilating and about to have an aneurysm just thinking about what it was that he says is he to "prevent".

Seriously - I'm not hallucinating, do not take any medications, am not inventing this stuff up.


Here's the kicker: I got a call this morning, from a business owner of a POD moving company. He said that [insert name of DH's dead cousin here] called him yesterday, gave him our address, and told him that we needed to move ASAP, and how soon could he have a POD delivered?

I fucking kid you not.

OK - so here's the million dollar question: what the FUCK does this mean??

I think it means you're sleeping more soundly than you thought (dreaming within a dream perhaps) and are stressed about the safety of loved ones after this unexpected death.

The phone call? Weird.

I'd move, honestly. I was visited by a dead/dying family member, but it was just a hey how ya doin visit.

I'm confused. You have to move in order for your child to not die? Why can you not recount what he showed you with the child? I believe that this experience happened but cannot provide suggestions if you don't say what's going to happen. sorry.

10:34 here. I've had minor circumstances like this, too. Minor though, nothing specific. I remember feeling someone sitting on the end of my bed, and knowing it was my recently passed Grandfather. Nothing really detailed though.

Have you ever experienced anything before? There's a lot of belief in Mediums.

I don't know, OP.

I would be freaked out. My grandfather used to always say that if there was some afterlife that he would show us he was around. When we were visiting to help my grandmother out---at least 4 strange things happened in quick succession. All the shades in one room sprung up at once, a timer on the microwave started going off, etc. My grandfather was a total jokester so we totally felt him there.

My husband's cousin passed away unexpectedly of an aneurysm at 29. In all of the photos (and with different cameras) taken in weeks after his death there is a distinct white shadow in all of the pics near his mom and dad, new wife, etc.

The detail in your dreams----and the phone call ---wth??? I am not, in general, one of those freaky afterlife, spirtual medium people but in some instances it really seems it's there.

I would have to divuluge all of this to DH if I were you. It woudl be too freaky to keep to myself.

Call the POD guy back. Explain that you know this is weird, but ask if he could possibly look back on his phone to tell you the number that the call from? And the date and time. Maybe gathering a little data would help you get to the bottom of it or convince you further that something otherworldly is happening here.
