Transgendered woman in the womens locker room

A few things -- of all the spas she choose Spa World? I can't help but think this was a set up. You are required to be naked for parts of spa world. Not just the locker room where you can quickly dress/undress but walking around in the pool area. Completely naked.

OK, any business that requires customers to be naked is the one in the fucked up category, not the customer who is just trying to live her life.

I have several thoughts about this - first, mom of transgendered teen, you are awesome and I wish I knew you IRL, your viewpoint and willingness to discuss is so refreshing. second, most of you have expressed views based on the assumption this woman was completely nude, but is there anything in the press stating that? I'm curious. third, I have never been to Spa World but I've thoroughly looked through the website and I never saw anything about being required to be completely nude - is that really true? I couldn't go there and just wear a bathing suit? and fourth - number three is moot because after that disgustingly offensive statement they put out i will never, ever go there. think about what they said outside the context of this specific incident. it is shocking and hateful!

You have to be nude at spa world. Swim suits are not permitted in the pool or in the treatment areas (sauna, etc). It's single gender pools - not co-Ed.

I totally accept transgendered women being in women's only areas (i.e. locker rooms, rest rooms, whatever), but it would weird me out to see a penis flailing about.

If it is true, what the parent of the transgender teen says, then I would think transgenders would stay away from SpanWorld knowing what it required.
