The industry tends to use ARTS for Assisted Reproductive Technology Services. This includes a wide range from standard Infertility, IVF, ICSI, Donor Egg, Surrogacy, etc.

I second the use of the term ARTS.

I will probably call it "Infertility Support and Discussion".

I think instead of homeschooling, you should create an attachment parenting forum. I don't follow AP to a T, but it seems like moms who do get slammed at the general parenting forum because the parenting strategies are so different.

I would not do a homeschooling forum. Seems silly as not many people do that in the area. It would be rare if people post in that forum. Restaurants and cooking does not need to be separated. Like another poster said, it doesn't get a lot of traffic as it is. I vote for job and careers, personal finances and splitting TTC and infertility I don't get the point, both others seem strongly about it so do it I suppose.

I like the bold, but would get rid of Homeschooling and add Books/Reading; or don't seperate the cooking and add Books.

I don't think homeschooling on its own will generate much traffic. What about aAlternative Parenting..this could cover homeschooling, attachment parenting, no vaccine folks...anyone who parents in ways that don't fit societal norms.

I really wanted to add sports and also pets -- though nobody spoke up for pets so I guess I'm the only one. But, I had to make difficult choices and sports didn't make this cut.

For those asking about homeschooling, supporters have literally been asking for years. I personally will be surprised if it gets any traffic at all. But, I want to give them a shot. A few months from now I might be replacing it with sports (or pets).

I'm the pp who suggested attachment parenting instead of homeschooling and I would agree with this, seems fair.

You aren't the only one, Jeff. I would like a pets forum but I didn't ask because, frankly, most threads about pets, especially ones about dogs, devolve into nastiness. Maybe a pets forum would change that. I'd like to think that, so I vote for it.
