Does Costco not carry them anymore? Perhaps this thread is a bit old...

I second this - their string bikinis.

Yep.

Try Dillard's Cabernet. I bought some of these while out of town and love them. They are very comfortable and come in a variety of styles and sizes and can be ordered online.

VS and GapBody used to be good, but both now suck

They are basically junk now and fall apart and get holes very quickly. Looking to replace mine with something comparable to the old style (if anyone remembers them). I just want plain, simple cotton panties. I've tried Hanes, thinking they'd be great, but there is a thick band at the top that cuts right into my c-section incision that is still sore from time to time (9 months postpartum!) I've also tried Gap cotton bikinis, but they seem to run really small and I'm not sure that I love them.

Any great recommendations?

I am so glad to read this!! I just spent $150 on the same panties I have been buying from them for years. What a waste! The cotton is thinner, the elastic is junk. They are so uncomfortable and climb up. I'm a nurse and wear comfy panties and always depended on Victoria Secrets undies. Now I'm searching for the same quality they used to have. I'm having no luck! Annoyed

Just purchased the same cotton panties I've been wearing for years from Victoria Secrets. They are junk. I'm so annoyed. The cotton is so much thinner than ever before. The elastic is thin so they creep up all day. I spent $150 for what I usually have gotten through the years. They just lost my business. A friend told me the bathing suits are the same way. What a rip off. Thanks for nothing

I am glad I'm not alone on this. Wore the VS cotton bikinis forever, and they are just not the same anymore. I'd bought some GapBody cotton hipsters a couple of years back which I do really like. It's nice to know there are some other options out there. Thanks to everyone who shared their favorites!

Love the costco rayon blend ones, French something. Better than any other brand I have tried.

Same here about the VS panties. Have worn them for over 20 years and have always loved them. Have bought them a few times the last couple of years and can't even wear them. They ride up and drive me crazy. So sad because they were perfect before. I'm still looking for some go-to underwear!

Soma has bikinis that are pretty similar to VS. wait for one of their 6 pairs for $36 sales.

Hanes bikinis from Target.

The VS cotton panties are awful now. I was a faithful customer for many years, but this is unacceptable. I buy the cotton bikinis with a hint of spandex from Costco. They are holding up well so far, and the price is good.

The most comfortable and best quality cotton panties I've ever tried are Splendid. They're awesome.
