Virginia referendum - if you hate MAGA, vote YES (even if your mailing says to vote 'No')

I didn't realize the WaPo editorial board was allowed to write about anything except how rich people are overtaxed. I guess Bezos granted them an exemption to write about a different topic.

No one has the right to tell another how to vote.

Some people shouldn’t vote.

There should be a competency test. You can differentiate between facts and “alternative facts”.

Sure. And of course, this competency test would be applied to ALL Americans, not just the ones you disagree with. Right?

And I believe in protecting the vote of my fellow Virginians, even those who are “different” from me. Voting no.

Thank you. It is so asinine that NoVa voters will elect people for the southern VA farmers. Their issues are very different.

Fairfax County has more than 1.1 million people (fully an eighth of the state's population). There are entire counties in the western part of the state with populations of 3, 4, 6 thousand people. Land doesn't vote, people do - and over the years the people of Virginia have become increasingly suburban.

Giving AR-15 magazines to out to anyone, including children, outside the Virginia state capital.

For the love of all that is decent, this is why you should vote YES on redistricting.

I was going to vote yes but watching Virginia Democrats like crooked Scott Surovell and Stella Pekarsky cram a Tysons casino down our throats without even a local referendum now has me inclined to sit this vote out or vote no.

Lots of MAGA bluffing on here from people who are trying to pretend Spanberger didn’t win by 15 points BEFORE Trump invaded Venezuela, started a war with Iran, made gas prices go up 50 cents a gallon, and about 100 other things. This will pass overwhelmingly.

Spanberger didn’t run on changing the congressional districts to 10-1; the Republican base outside the urban areas feels more deeply about this than those assured of having a Democrat in Congress to represent them no matter what; and Democrats like Lucas and Surovell pushing a casino in Tysons despite the overwhelming local opposition are just begging Fairfax voters to punish the Democrats for their arrogance on that issue. Wake up.

Great way to bring attention to the insane policies the VA legislature is pushing down the throats of Virginians.
And a reminder that more Democrats in Congress is NOT the solution to this issue.

Is that why I see Obama stumping for Democrats?

Seemed real grass roots Virginia.
Postmark was HARTFORD CT.

I did fight back against being a disenfranchised used as cannon fodder.

I voted early.

I voted no.

LOL. A MAGA simpleton who doesn't understand that federal elections affect EVERY American. You'd better believe I donate to candidates outside of DC. In fact, I have more sway by doing this since, ya know, DC doesn't have representation. Congressional Virginians definitely affect CT voters.

Gross’s When I started getting postcards from fellow democrats in other states and had them so owing up at my door, it was the beginning of the end of my identification as a democrat. I find this behavior so repulsive. No one outside my state knows what my state needs. I’m very much an independent. I vote Dem or not at all. Even when I vote Dem I find I have to work to stop what they imagine as a mandate from voters (see Tysons casino).

PP, you are a mini version of the orange one.

WTAF!

I know! Isn’t it great? I cannot believe people don’t understand that this is a direct consequence of the democrats attempting to wipe away the 2 A rights of Virginians. Expect more of it.

He's stumping because you never take anything for granted. In elections, a candidate will be up by 20% in the polls, and they'll still have campaign events, run ads, participate in a debate, etc. -- same idea.
