NP. Did you miss all of 2020 somehow?

You thought 2020 protests were meaningful?

If you are unwilling to fight for your country then, by all means, pack up and go but don't expect to be welcomed back because those of us willing to fight for our country do not want or need whining cowards.

I can hear your FUPA screaming from here. Are you licensed to carry a gun? Do you have young children, or an aged parent or spouse who is Black or brown? NO.

Wearing a f——ng button that says “Melt Ice!!!” does NOTHING. We should call our reps and demand they withhold ICE funding and inundate the mayors and governors offices in Minneapolis/MN and Portland/OR to start arresting the ICE goons who hurt civilians.

Say something smart or STFU. Enough.

Without allies, without NATO, without morality on our side, good luck making a stand PP - this country is not ours it's our government who owns it. It hasn't been the people running it for decades. Anyone telling you different is lying or a fool. There is no actual democracy. Socialist state yes but democracy + capitalism is not ever ever ever ever going to be a democracy. The money will run the govt. 1000000% of the time - be logical not emotional.
Greenland is a such a sideshow. The characterization of an invasion is incorrect because there is no force there defending Greenland so no fight is possible and it’s already NATO territory. A deal will be signed where the US explores adding bases, Trump declares victory, does a little dance, and this will fade into the background where it belongs. The Europeans want this because they want keep the status quo of US troops in harms way in Europe in case the Russians show up.

British troops are mobilizing to defend Greenland against USA. Denmark has had armed watchmen in place for months.

Sure they are. Let me know when they land and claim it for Britain. Sounds like an invasion to me. No one will be talking about this in 2 months. And no one will setup anything. It will all fade.

There is no chance that the US becomes stronger.

Well, if the US removed forces in other countries and aid, it would have more money to focus on itself, while the other countries get weaker and have to foot that bill internally. Imagine European countries convincing their people to fund more military and medical costs?

DC resident here. F U OP! You privileged POS.

Not understanding your hostility - was responding to 'where are you going' post? So yes, if one does a thought experiment and literally tries to imagine where one might move - options like Cabo Verde come up! Jeeesh. Look for warm, not many natural disasters, relatively stable, friendly culture... especially if one is nearing retirement.

Some of them are courting people with useful skills. Others will simply take us as refugees.

Here you go!

They only want the most educated or Americans with specific skills, like healthcare workers. I know several who have already left.

I am a dual citizen with one of the European green countries and, if this chart says so, maybe the government is making things easy for Americans to move there but let me tell you clearly: the people of the country do not want Americans.

We could move to Canada, but it's going downhill fast. We have relatives who feel the standard of living has gone down to 2nd to 3rd-world levels, considering you look around, and Canada has an open-border policy.

I am both saying and doing my something. All you are doing is making excuses because your young children or aged parents prevent you from joining a peaceful demonstration. I have been calling my elected representatives AS WELL AS OTHER CONGRESSIONAL MEMBERS and sending emails concerning Trump's mental instability and his lack of ethics.

You need to educate your as to when and how municipal and state LEOs can arrest federal LEO. Your present ignorance is mind boggling.

"Minneapolis police can arrest ICE agents if they commit state crimes, as federal agents don't have absolute immunity, but prosecution is complex and often involves jurisdictional disputes, as seen with the recent ICE-involved shooting and protests in Minneapolis where local police arrested protesters but federal agents faced scrutiny for their actions. While state/local authorities can arrest federal agents for violations like murder or other crimes, federal courts may grant immunity if they were acting within their duty, creating legal tension."

Elections have consequences and we are in the FO portion of FAFO. We can argue about who did the FA but probably enough blame to go around.

This too will pass.

We will have elections this year and the landscape will change. Don't hyperventilate about how there might not be elections, you lose all credibility saying something like that at this point.

We already see the Republicans pushing back against Trump in anticipation of giving him the Geroge W Bush treatment and disowning him as soon as he leaves office.
