15yo and Corset costume - I’m the only parent pushing back. Am I being unreasonable ?

I don’t really get upset about slutty, but I do hate tacky. And these outfits are tacky. Sorry OP. Still, I would probably hold my nose and allow it.

Our DD might be part of the same group-my 16yr old is doing the same. I don’t think it’s a big deal and the skirt she got was way shorter than the example pic. Halloween is for fun and dress-up and in two years she’ll be in college probably wearing similar stuff-I don’t see the big deal.

Express yourself.

I love tacky for Halloween! Isn’t that practically the whole point? I was never into the slutty costume thing, but I’m fine if my daughters want to try it out. They are so much more comfortable with their bodies than I was.

Also, we were hit on at the mall by adult men starting at 12, wearing totally normal clothes. So many sketchy men. I don’t think the clothes matter nearly as much as we think they do

Is your daughter large chested? If not, NBD in my opinion.

I'd sigh and make a lot of comments about how cold they'll be what with being half naked. But not forbid it. There are bigger hills to die on.

If you give in make sure you supervise closely because it could get ugly.

Who said anything about trick or treating? Halloween parties exist and it’s very common in high school.

Also, no one is too old for ToT.

Extremely popular right now. Someone earlier mentioned Pocahontas - there’s one of her too:

Why would you be so obnoxious?
