She's in the process of grabbing the ball when the man snatches it right under her hands. She was within inches of the ball, when the man stuck his arm across her body and grabbed it.

He had to race across several sections, to reach her section. He likely began running as soon as he realized the vicinity where it would land.

Now, I'm sorry, but that is tacky and ill mannered. Complete lack of civility. It's one thing when the ball lands near you and everyone reaches for it at the same time. One person will make contact with it, and the rest will good naturedly concede that individual is the winner.

In this case, the ball was going to land completely out of his section. Totally. He raced across several sections to get to the ball, which was landing right in front of this woman. She gleefully reached for it, but he aggressively snatched it right from under her.

I don't blame her for getting angry. He was a jerk. However, I would have let it go. If I were having a really, really bad day with my defenses down, I likely would have done exactly what she did. Most of the time I'm good natured, but you push me hard enough on a bad day and I will tear you a new face. That is what she did.

I don't go to baseball games, but my understanding is you don't race across several sections to reach the ball before it's taken by the people in the vicinity where it drops.

You’re wrong. I do go to baseball games. People run, clamor and fight for these balls. It’s stupid but he did what everyone does when it’s not sold out and they can run to another section. They do. He just got it before she did. It happens all the time where the ball bounces or whatever and the people right there don’t get it. There’s no “etiquette” here where you leave it to the people in that section, especially when it’s sparse attendance.

Thank you! It was clear PP wasn’t a baseball fan before they even got to the last few sentences. The balls are a free-for-all and she lost. If he’d actually snatched it out of her hands, that would be one thing, but she just wasn’t fast enough.

You buried the lead. The ball wasn't in her hands. Close doesn't count.

People are doxxing a Karen from a baseball game and they wonder why ICE agents wear masks?

the key differnece being that ICE agents are public servants and our entire criminal justice system is based on openness and transparency... our system of karens is based on people watching too much social media.

ICE agents shouldn’t wear masks, but the criminal justice system isn’t based on openness. That’s a real oversimplification.

Well, there are the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 14th amendments... but other than that, yeah, I guess you have a point.

:smdh:

The fifth amendment? Which guarantees the right to a grand jury indictment? Are you familiar with the concept of grand jury secrecy?

And the fourth? Which requires a warrant to conduct many kinds of searches? The approval of which is an ex parte secret proceeding?

I have no idea what relevance the 7th amendment has to criminal justice.

You have no idea what you’re talking about.

Allright, I'm wrong, lol. It doesn't sit right with me that he left his section for the ball. You all have educated me on how this works. I'd be interested in an overhead view if there's video out there that shows who had the ball first.

And what happens after your indicted by a grand jury?

You have the right to an open, speedy and fair trial. What is the point of a warrant? To create a system that can be regulated and remediated when it is problematic, even if it is after the fact. 7th amendment is civil but it guarantees you your jury.

If you don't understand why having an open trial where you can face your accuser and are not compelled to testify against yourself and why warrants protect the defendant... I mean, you're not a serious person.

Multiple videos showing she never had the ball she just acted entitled to it.

It's not complicated. It doesn't matter how white you are, no one has more of a right to the ball than anyone else.

Except for kids.

It’s just the internet’s big chance to point at a middle aged woman and shout “Karen” in the hopes it will silence others. Misogyny at its best.

He knew he was in the wrong, that’s why he took it from his kid’s mitt and gave it to her. She on the other hand is crazy to go put her hands on him or get in the face of the other person. For that, she is guilty of being an entitled idiot and karma is doing its thing.

You think being a white woman should put you above criticism for bad behavior?

No, he wanted the crazy lady away from his kids. This woman was also screaming at other people throughout the games.

Thus guy didn't do anything wrong and saying it over and over won't change that. She didn't have her hand on the ball and demanding a ball from a child is deranged behavior.

How has she got been identified yet? She must not have any friends or a job, since I'm sure anyone who knows her would be happy to knock her down a few pegs.
