I’m OP. That’s not what I’m referring to. |
That's not a "DMV specific" sin. That's just a sin. |
Yep. |
Go to BK Millers and ask. I’m from nova too and further out … this is basic stuff. Damn, you can even get one at national if you go to the Ben’s there. |
I offered Mountain Dew to some of your kids at my son’s fifth grade birthday party. They accepted of course. One had never had any kind of soda before, a few others had only previously had sprite.
You’re welcome |
This. I thought this was going to be a thread where we could talk about the crazy politics of the Department of Motor Vehicles. Oh well, guess I will take my story elsewhere. |
Born and raised in MD and I hate crabs and Old Bay. |
My kid goes to an SEC school and we love it. |
+1. I cringe every time I hear this. |
I hate the Delaware beaches. Nothing nice or exciting about them. Can’t imagine why anybody would buy a beach house there. |
Mambo sauce is completely meh and forgettable.
I’ll wear the M |
100%. The worst beaches. I’m not sure why they are so romanticized. |
This area does american food so badly. All the staple DC area restaurants are so overhyped -i’m looking at you founding farmers and Old Ebbitt. I do not know how these places continue to be rated so highly when they are barely mediocre. You can get better american food almost anywhere else. And yes, I find it ironic that this area does American so bad when it’s literally the capital. It’s embarrassing. So yeah I hate all the “iconic” DC restaurants because they are awful. That’s my sin. |
Ah. See, you’re confusing “iconic” — tourist restaurants with “American” food. There are lots of great places to eat in DC with American food that OP hasn’t been to, and probably overlooks, possibly deliberately. Ruff N Ready serves American food. The Hitching Post is an American restaurant. Horace and Dickie’s is an American restaurant. Supreme Barbecue is an American restaurant. What’s “embarrassing “ is how limited your working definitions of “American “ food are. |
There was that one time that I stood on the left for a minute before I caught myself. |
