I don't hate many people but I hate people like you. this is such a dangerous, aggressive, and self centered behavior. There are teenagers on the road still learning. There are senior citizens who might be struggling and you are speeding around acting like an a$$hat. But really you are a danger to EVERYONE! Please start thinking about other humans who would like to make it home to their families. think about your own family I'm sure they love you. Go get help. |
Stop playing victim. I know many conservatives who see the destruction of trump. People are tired of the lack of humanity MAGAs seem to take joy in daily. Obama took care of immigration and he didn't have thugs in masks running around kidnapping people off the street.. So just save your victim crying. If you voted for this you voted for a "man" who is out to destroy our country a spoiler alert he doesn't care about you or America. He cares about himself as does all his little yes men. MAGA is a mental illness. |
-1. There aren't any enlisted service members in Del Ray. It's all high ranking officers and SES. |
I grew up here (Arlington) and half smokes were on the APS school lunch menu when I was a kid. |
I think Georgetown Cupcake is overrated and kind of gross. Call Your Mother has mid bagels at best. Jose Andres is a national treasure but outside of Mini Bar, his restaurants are also just mid. |
"Mid" ![]() |
The Pug, Wonderland, Last Call, and all the other "dive bars" in DC are not dives. They're set pieces where privileged kids go to pretend they're working class.
There is only one dive bar in DC and that's the Player's Lounge. |
I’d guarantee 99% of posters here wouldn’t even know where PL is without a web search. Triple bonus points if you know it’s *previous* location, too. |
Beautifully summed up. This all started back when that demographic started drinking PBR |
Did not know it had changed locations (though I would argue that Tune Inn and the original Stoney’s also qualify). |
I'd like to make it home also, or wherever I am going. How about you put down the phone and drive. Learn how to turn right into a turning lane where you don't need clear traffic because that's how they designed it for you. Learn to actually go when the light turns green, and anticipate it. Learn how to drive in general. Senior citizens and new teen drivers are not the problem at all. It's your average driver. |
Thank you. |
Can you share more on how you pulled this off? |
I called Navy Yard "Downtown." |
I do enjoy travel. But I disagree with many DCUM in that: a) I don’t think travel automatically makes you more cultured or open minded. b) I think it’s atrocious that going to Antarctica is a tourist option. Ruining it so you can check it off your list. c) traveling just to check places off a list/competing to go to the most places, etc. d) making fun of people for going to popular places bc you think you are more sophisticated or “not like the other” tourists. “Off the beaten path” “like the locals”…..girl, you are a tourist and an annoying one at that with that BS. |
