I find driving in Arlington to be very confusing to the point I had no desire to move there. |
H: I am a housewife by choice. |
I deeply dislike the Air and Space Museum. And the Zoo. Ive lived 2-3 metro stops away from the zoo for 30 years, raised kids, and Ive been to the zoo like 5 times in 30 years.
I don’t give a sht about seeing pandas |
This area seems to be about the least obsessed with cars of any American city, save maybe NYC. My scarlet letter is that my kid is average to slightly below average in school and it isn't a catastrophe. We help her out, but if she ends up at GMU or even NVCC, that is fine. |

I don't agonize or worry about making sure my kids only eat healthy food. |
We have kids but did not choose a neighborhood based on school rankings. It has worked out great for 20 years. |
Don't recycle.
Drink daily. Have no debt. Have no kids. Think $200K/year makes you rich. Cause it does. |
I don't like going to northern Virginia at all. I believe the roads and sprawl bewildering and confusing on purpose. Like this is how the Confederacy chose to make life miserable for Northerners after they lost the War. |

I used to love to scam bait overseas scammers, I got real good at it, until my wife cancelled our landline because of it. |
omg same. The DC zoo is the worst Zoo in my opinion. I hate it. Always packed and you can never see anything. And I also agree about the air and space museum-I find it so underwhelming. I don't get why people constantly act like it’s so great. |
That’s fine as long as it’s your choice and you’re not a MAGA tradwife or in some horrible religious cult. Blink twice if you need our help. |
I'm fat AND love Trader Joes. Especially recipes for 5 ingredients or less. |
