If anyone really wanted to end illegal immigration, they wouldn't do it with ICE. They'd do it with the IRS. Tax, fine and jail anyone who is violating the law and find out who is doing it by going through the books.

The problem with what this administration is doing is that they are cancelling the lawful presence (including parole, TPS, applicants for asylum or other relief, and others) of people who are in the US, thus rendering them illegal, and then deporting them.

Saying someone is "in the process" of following the rules kind of misses the point—if you're not following the rules yet, then you're not actually following them. Or that someone was following the law by taking a victim to the hospital after committing a crime. That's just not how it works. If the law was broken, then there are consequences.

Good Lord. Study some history.
The people who came over 100 years ago were vetted. They were checked for disease and they had to be able to support themselves. There was a process and people who came followed the process.

That is NOT what happened the past 4 years. And, stop making it about race. We had tens of thousands, if not millions of illegal aliens from "white" countries breach our border as well. They need to go too.

Entering a country illegally is against the law... no matter when then did it. And, just because the laws haven't been enforced in the past does not make it right. About time our laws are being enforced now.
