Because we are a country founded on immigration. When your white immigrant ancestors came over, it was just fine and dandy. But now that non-white people are coming over, you suddenly have a problem with it. [/quote]

Unfortunately, the bigotry currently on display is about as American as the immigration is. It used to be the Irish, the blacks, the Italians, the Catholics. Literally every generation of Americans HAD to have someone to hate and blame their problems on. Yet, somehow, every generation got weather than the next thanks to immigrants. Go figure. [/quote]
