American Select tryouts

This is not worth the money IMO. Last year had it and now this year. Several girls made the team that didn't try out. They submitted film etc.. No way this is a fair selection or worth it IMO. Go do New Balance. If you didn't make the team you are lucky and saved $800+ .

We paid the money almost a week ago angry lady.

Was it Capital players that they allowed to submit tape?

Sounds like hate…those girls made them team because they were better lacrosse players.

Anyone can submit a tape. To be fair, the Cap player would likely get a better review

Guessing this tape stuff is a red herring. We will see when rosters are posted.

Not necessarily. They did not have to compete with the same girls making the team on the same field. They got to hand pick what they wanted coaches to see. For an event like this with the cost of tryouts and then the additional $800 it is completely a rigged system IMO. Buyer beware.

I have had daughters on AS teams over several years and age groups and have never heard of a player being selected based on a tape. What are you even talking about?

It’s true and happening all of the time. Just another way to rig the system and use nepotism to its full extent.

Looking forward to that final roster disproving this nonsense. "Nepotism"? Didn't realize the Capital leadership had kids or extended family trying out.
