American Select tryouts

lol so some dumb back at you. What do you consider star power? I’m sure you know every girl on the Midwest 2029 that’s loaded with star power. The 2027 Florida team was chock full of star power.

It does not carry weight with BIC. The better Cap players always do AA after freshman year.

Keep thinking that.

All American lost their title sponsor, which was under Armour. What does that say? Under Armour still supports all American football?

It says you're a complete moron and you need to punch yourself in the forehead until you drive out the evil stupids from your skull.

It’s super easy: look at the teams/regions that matter, and see how many elite players there are on each roster. Look, I get it, you have some weird attachment to AS and it just has to be more prestigious, but it’s simply not true. Kudos to your DD for playing in AS, that is a great accomplishment. And AA being better doesn’t diminish her accomplishment at all.

If you want to get recruited, you go to get watched by college coaches. College coaches can't be at 2 places at the same time.

I’m not questioning your data but I saw Jenny Levy at All American watching her 26 commits. Maybe the coaches didn’t RSVP for All American correctly.

Lmao….I know that you’re wedded to the idea that AS is superior, but making up stuff doesn’t help your case. It clearly says in the AA list from 2024 that UNC had 2 coaches come in, but you have it as zero. And the 2025 list for AA will be the same and I personally saw the UNC HC at AA. Like I said, I get it; your kid made AS and not AA, so it just has to be better….but it’s simply not true.

Also, AS has a lot more teams, so comparing the # of coaches in attendance for each team is dumb. Example: UNC sent two assistants to AS, but where was the HC??? Exactly

Teams have more than one coach. The divide and conquer they are also there because they are getting paid by both AA and AS to be there.

I made a mistake looking up UNC. You're correct. They had 2 coaches in 2024.

There is no 2025 AA coaches list publicly available.

However, when a school sends 3 or more coaches to 1 venue, I think it's fair to say they have a preference.

I don't have a kid who attended either event.

Also, Drexel had 0 AA coaches in 2024.

It’s the same list pretty much for 2025, I was there and saw the coaches w their team gear on. And as mentioned above, AS has more teams, so more eyes needed. Pretty telling that the HC from UNC chose AA, as did many HCs, associate HCs, and top assistants. But keep trying, you might finally convince someone.

I'm giving you facts (so look it up). You're only giving me anecdotes. Who's unsuccessfully convincing whom?

Either way, they're both great tournaments and a participant at either one should be very proud of the accomplishment.
