| Do they send emails either way? |
Only if your DD makes it |
| I think they only send emails if you are being offered a spot on a team. |
https://www.allamericalacrosse.com/regions/washington/ All america tryouts the 30th! Great event as well - a bit less expensive! |
Thought both these events cost the same amount. |
| The American Select MD "B" team last year had lots of talent and was much better team than the DC team. But the more competitive tournament now seems to be All America, so girls who didn't make or try out for the Baltimore team may be waiting for the DC All America try out on 3/30. |
All America is a few hundred less and you don't have to get a hotel since it's Columbia, MD and not DE Turf. |
| More college coaches are present at AS when compared to All America. Perhaps this changes in the future, but currently that's how it is. Important for the 2027s this summer; not important at all for the 2028s and younger. To each their own. |
Fake news |
Both of these events are great. Anyone on here reading this stuff would want their kid on one of these teams if possible. Otherwise , why you even reading this stuff. |
Actually, it's not. |
Exactly. Bitter people. The AS teams from NY, NJ, PA are stacked with the top talent. You'll watch them on Saturdays and Sundays on ESPN in a few years. |
Why is it not fake news? Just interested in your take. Not stirring the pot here. |
Do you think girls who are waiting for AS MD team tryouts in May would take a spot on All America on 3/30 instead? Is All America better competition? |
Not the poster but the amount of coaches watching is crazy at AS and if you are on 2028 or younger making the all-star team could change a kids trajectory. NB is also great with a ton of coaches there too. I think the hate is that some of yall's kids didn't get selected.... |
