A Reagan-appointed judge stopped another Trump effort. Not everyone is in your cult.

Reagan was a liberal compared to this!

I'm hoping this forces "OPM" to close some of the loopholes and make it a real offer.
Things like clarifying payments will happen, more limited waiver, etc.

The deadline forcing people to respond today has been paused.

Delayed until Monday, when the judge has scheduled another hearing. Judge wants to review the merits of the case over the weekend.

Judge will very likely issue a permanent TRO on Monday. The plaintiffs strongly argue multiple violations of law by the Fork program and OPM.

Now that Bondi is in they should stop frivolous litigations like this as they cost tax payers a lot of money

Can someone post an actual link without a forking paywall.

You’re right. Stopping frivolous litigation would mean conceding the fork offer is illegal and ending the program.

Yeah. If Musk and the Muskateers would stop pillaging our country, nobody would have to file lawsuits to stop them. you should get right on that.

Explain how this is frivolous and what part of the Constitution allows her to stop litigation.

America is a right to work country so there is no reason you can't terminate everyone

Explain how this is frivolous and what part of the Constitution allows her to stop litigation.

The only way she stop it is by directing the DOJ lawyers to settle the case.

Can we terminate Musk and the Muskateers? Asking for a friend.

Litigation that I don’t like is “frivolous.” The cases I do like are meritorious.

That’s not what right to work means.

They can still resign

so rather than get 8 months paid you want them to just quit? wtf. Just so you stick it to the administration, wow

Huh? How does them quitting “stick it to the administration”? That is what the administration wants

they should NOT get 8 months paid in this deal. The fork was designed to appeal to greed, so accepting the deal makes Feds look greedy (what happened to the mission and pubic service??? nope it was all reduced to money; never mind that feds saw it as an escape from further abuse and a payout for giving up a career they did not want to leave; nope, the admin spin is that feds are lazy and want to be paid to do nothing)

If you want to resign, then resign. If you want a buyout, then wait for a buyout. If you want VERA, wait for VERA.

the fork was its own thing and made it clear it was 1) an insult (low productivity jobs) and 2) appealing to greed - get paid for 8 months and don’t work! And then some weird timeshare pressure - take the vacation of your dreams but act soon, this is a limited time offer!

HOLD the line and resign/retire the right way. We’ve been upholding the laws for the length of our federal careers, don’t stop now. Don’t take some made-up “deal” from people who do not honor their contracts - wait for them to use the established, trusted practices.

Do you hear that DOGE? We are happy to leave but do it using the established procedures. They work and we understand them. Then you can disrupt without us in your way.

What has liberal vs. conservative to do with any of this??? People losing jobs is bad. At the end of the day, whatever you are L or C, you have to have money to fill your stomach.
