A federal Judge following federal law wouldn’t say fire. They would say RIF. Which can be a better deal. It comes with rehire preference. And severance based on age plus service. I’d get a full year. RIF is much better for me than Fork.

Maybe the result will be that deal takers RETAIN claims against the USG if they take the deal and the payments fail to materialize. I’m not sure that’s possible without Congress blessing that, but these things must be worked out.

Delayed until Monday, when the judge has scheduled another hearing. Judge wants to review the merits of the case over the weekend.

Judge will very likely issue a permanent TRO on Monday. The plaintiffs strongly argue multiple violations of law by the Fork program and OPM.

But they HAD to have known it wasn't legal and that they would be stopped along the way. Now let's see if judges can actually still make rulings based on law.

I don't think they are doing any due diligence. So did they know? Maybe. I think the main point is that they don't CARE if it's legal.
