If it shuts down just for the weekend and then opens by Monday, it doesn’t impact most workers.

Plenty of times a deal was reached then not but it really bothers me that Musk (who was not elected, has no role in the process in Congress, and has very vested interests) is having such heavy influence on this process. Will GOP be wearing Musk merch now as he has bought and owns them? I hope it is not that bad.

I hope it shuts down all the way to inauguration — that way, Trump won’t get the inauguration he wants because what he wants requires… planning. The only thing essential about Jan. 20th is that Trump gets sworn in, but it’s not mandatory that he have a party. Shut her down! LOL
