Jolie didn't make SAG or even the BAFTA long list and Kidman hasn't been on most critics' top 5 lists. I agree both are out, since Jean-Baptiste or Torres will almost certainly make it in for Oscar nominations (probably Jean-Baptiste). At this point seems Moore, Madison, Erivo, and Gascón are locked.

Demi continues her momentum, clinching another major award nom.

I'm glad it didn't get much traction, but I wonder who leaked that awful Demi making out with a teenager video. Right after she won the Golden Globe. It must have been the highly-paid awards consultant of one of her competitors. Jolie or Kidman are my best guesses. I think Demi and Nicole are friendly, so I'm my best guess is Jolie.

It could have been the studio. Netflix probably worried about its two Best Actress contenders.

Kidman topped multiple top 10 preformances lists. It is sick she's being snubbed while the reviews for her preformance shows differently.

Emilia Perez is awful. Kidman was amazing in Babygirl. Not sure these awards mean much.

She can barely move her face because of all the Botox and plastic surgery. I don’t think she’s capable of emoting anymore. I highly doubt she was great.

Jolie has been out for a long time. She didn’t make the top 10 top vote getters in the BAFTA long list, whereas even Amy Adams and Kate Winslet did. Jolie can’t act or sing and gave an atrocious performance in Maria. She didn’t embody Maria Callas at all. It speaks volumes that she isn’t being recognized with all the campaigning she is doing and the backing of Netflix.

+1 Award nominating committees have traditionally been suckers for biopics though.
