Sounds great. I’ll be happy to see critical race theory, gender ideology, and sexual orientation topics leave school curriculum. You can indoctrinate your kid on your own time at home. School should be for core subjects. We are failing miserably in math and science.

We can move the Ed people to processing claims at the border. Plenty of space in Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona.

Many people argue that the R party of today is not that of 30 years ago. Same goes for the D party. You are losing the silent, moderate majority.

I think the Democrats got way to swept up in the far left and pandering to the AOCs, Bernie Sanders, and pro-Palestinian protestors. On disabilities and special needs, Trump’s son Barron has special needs. Trump said some insensitive things, but I’m focused more on policies than the person.

Trump plans to gut supports for special needs kids. I hope you have a good plan b and the money to pay for it. God speed.

I do have a back up plan. You can take me off your worry list. Maybe try to focus instead on why your party failed to capture the hearts and minds of the American people than to continue to tell everyone who disagrees with you that they are idiots.

Because too many people get their news from bad blogs, bad podcasts, and social media. All of which is littered with lies and propaganda created by our adversaries to get exactly the result we got.

They are in the middle. The values and policies they support are supported by the majority of people. Things like "woke" and "CRT" are weaponized terms meant to scare people when the reality is, very very different and not malign at all. Trump’s education policy is to away the Department of Education which protected students with special needs and/or of low income.

While this doesn’t address special needs, it does show that we’ll only really have religious patriotic schools, so maybe there won’t be a lot of reading. It sounds like Sunday School.

No, the current Democratic party is not in the middle. Lax immigration policies, “progressive” prosecutors, allowing biological males to compete in female sports, unchecked violent protests on college campuses because “freedom of speech”, cancelling/branding as racist anyone who disagrees with liberal viewpoints, none of these are centrist and all were roundly rejected by the electorate this week.

All the military vets I know are republicans who left the GOP. Most left in 2016 but some more recently. They are loyal to the constitution, not a dictator wannabe who wants to shred it. They all have at least one masters degree and most have multiple masters degrees. They recognize a guy who wants a banana republic when they see him.

They also have daughters, gay or trans kids, or autistic kids and they care about their safety. They voted for Harris.
