I voted 3rd party even though I know it was essentially a vote for Trump. If I had to vote R or D, I would have voted R.

Many people argue that the R party of today is not that of 30 years ago. Same goes for the D party. You are losing the silent, moderate majority.
Dems already LOST the silent, moderate majority. We lost the union vote for goodness sake. How was that not the canary in the coal mine for the DNC? We need to drop wokeness and get back to the middle quickly.

They are in the middle. The values and policies they support are supported by the majority of people. Things like "woke" and "CRT" are weaponized terms meant to scare people when the reality is, very very different and not malign at all. But it is too late and now we are on the dawn of a Christian Nationalist fascist state. I hope the Leopards don't eat too many faces.
You must not live in a very progressive area if you haven't seen CRT taught to your kids. It's been going on for 4 years here.

“CRT” was 2020. Didn’t you receive your update talking points?

Denial cost you the election.

Did you go to Liberty?

No, I went to U. of Michigan.

No one believes either of your posts.

I do and I’m not sure why you don’t. Why do you think you speak for everyone?

To know him is to hate him.

Just wait until he tries to govern and his "I don't know nothing about Project 25" Project 25 laws start getting shoved down people's throats.

You can stop claiming Trump’s first term was horrible. Nobody’s buying it any more. $2/gallon gas, 1.5% inflation, border under control. Yeah, what a nightmare

So will he bring back the pandemic that caused this too?

The smart ones left the party and no longer identify as R.

That’s not how you lost congress and the presidency.

PP should have included "not a sociopath" on the list.

The smart ones I know no longer vote R but still consider themselves an R in spirit. They are just homeless at the moment.

They were some of the most vocal anti-Trump people 4 years ago.

Average IQ is 100. Most people don’t read real news. The problem is the internet and bad education.

This too. But when the R party is full on MAGA, I’m not sure why they insist on hanging on to that label. It’s okay to be Independent.

The smart Rs I know don’t want to be associated with the racists, traitors and fascists that rule the party now.

And that’s not an insult that is simply the truth. Very sad commentary on the state of our nation. One thing is true-the public education system (especially in rural poorer states) needs to greatly improve. People aren’t taught civics or basic economics and are unable to differentiate between misinformation and fact and that has absolutely nothing to do with immigration. It’s been this way for many many years.

People like you are the reason your party lost and even “brown people” voted for Trump. You don’t have to be educated to know when someone’s condescending to you. You think you’re smarter than everyone else. You’re not.

I am here. IQ 142, attended selective and academically rigorous undergrad, did a number of robs, and highly successful in a field where I rose due to my exceptional technical abilities. I grew up blue collar in the Midwest with parents with high school educations. It didn’t make sense for me to go to grad school, but I do not consider it a failure of intellect.

So have you left the party because it’s no longer conservative? Or are you all in on the lies, racism, and fascism?

No, Harris lost because Ds who voted in 2020 (even with Rs pushing their "CRT" nonsense) stayed home.

Meh. They are pretty clear that they don't support the current GOP.

For most, the last R candidate they supported was Weld.

Were there any? Most of these "patriotic" Rs have a history of bombing other countries. No thank you.
