Trump has never been my choice in the primaries.
By most objective metrics — career field, selectivity of undergrad university, SAT scores — I’m fairly intelligent. I like to celebrate Independence Day, and I’m a military veteran, so I’m arguably patriotic. What would you like to know? |

PP above you (the military vet guy). No tweaks to the investment plan here, just stick with index funds. Their value increased by six figures the day after Trump’s election. Just hoping the tariffs are moderate and sensible and strategic to America’s best interests as a whole. |

I’m an independent who walked away from the Democratic Party this election.
Today, I woke up and 4:30 and enjoyed some coffee while I read my favorite news sources. I like to read WSJ, BBC, Jerusalem Post. Next, I responded to some work emails and made a to do list for today. After that I cleaned up the kitchen and went downstairs to work out. Tomorrow, I’ll be volunteering with my kids to build garden beds for a local organization, then taking my in laws to dinner to celebrate my mother in laws birthday. I also intend to do some reading up on possible tutors to help with my son’s dyslexia. Terrible person, right? Because I disagree with your politics and moral superiority complex? That’s fine, I’ll just be me. I like me just the way I am. You do you. |

If you want to start a real conversation, don’t start with insults.
I already started my day by checking and replying to work emails and waking up my kids to get ready for school. I’m drinking coffee and on here a bit before I go in to my job today, as a teacher. I won’t discuss anything political with any student today because it isn’t related to my curriculum. We are all around you, OP. Stop insulting everyone and do as you have been telling us to do. Come together and work together without hate. I don’t hate anyone. |
