I voted 3rd party even though I know it was essentially a vote for Trump. If I had to vote R or D, I would have voted R.

Many people argue that the R party of today is not that of 30 years ago. Same goes for the D party. You are losing the silent, moderate majority.

I’m glad you have the $$$ for a backup plan. I’m going to worry about the children who do not, rather than wring my hands that my half of the country likes policy wonks and the other half likes entertainers. There going to be work to do to protect the vulnerable.

Sounds great. I’ll be happy to see critical race theory, gender ideology, and sexual orientation topics leave school curriculum. You can indoctrinate your kid on your own time at home. School should be for core subjects. We are failing miserably in math and science.

To the posters on the first page who answered honestly, succinctly and without judgment or spite, you are the reason that while I voted for Harris I am just not super troubled by the fact she lost and will probably find myself voting for Republicans not named Trump in the future. I don’t even think most Americans watch the news or even watch the debates. At best they get chopped up clips coming across of Facebook and Tik Tok. Social media tailors your feed to the individual based on whatever algorithm you have so many are living in their own personalized echo chambers. I haven’t seen a single pro trump or conservative ad or marketing on my social media this entire election cycle and I assume it’s the same way for conservatives that they aren’t getting any liberal marketing.
