Where are all the intelligent, patriotic Republicans?

If you have a son who is dyslexic how do you support a person who makes fun of people with disabilities? How do you explain that to your child?

Policy.
What's his health care policy?

We can’t and won’t go point by point with you. You know this wasn’t true.

And policy is going to be the answer to all of these so stop trying to post them one by one. We want a better future for our kids. The election is over. It’s time for you to move on.

You can start by understanding what happens to special education funding when so much of the school budget gets redirected to teaching ESL due to an influx of migrants. Get it yet? We have to balance issues of character with actual concrete Dem policies that were detrimental to our way of life.

Since all kids need emotional support, how do you explain that the current President abandoned his when they needed him the most? It lead to drug addiction, failed marriages, rehab stints etc.

Clearly people are in denial about what will happen. Some teacher just told me she’s happy that T will dismantle the Dept of Ed. Didn’t mention that her pension is likely out the window too. No thought about unintended consequences like how the loss of 4400 employees will affect the market X all the other agencies. Not to mention the teachers who will quit because they don’t want to sign loyalty pledges or die in childbirth because Texas doesn’t have enough obgyns.

Hi, I am the poster with the dyslexic son. I don’t like Donald Trump at all. But I think his policies are better than the Democrats. I think the Democrats got way to swept up in the far left and pandering to the AOCs, Bernie Sanders, and pro-Palestinian protestors. In the past five years, the woke politics, defund the police, and similar movements have (in my opinion) damaged our country - made our cities less safe and not actually helping minorities be more successful.

On disabilities and special needs, Trump’s son Barron has special needs. Trump said some insensitive things, but I’m focused more on policies than the person.

They are out there working hard, having babies, and enjoying life in the greatest nation on earth soon to be greater.

Many voted for Harris, like most of DT's staff from his first administration. Just not enough.

It was all a ruse. There apparently aren't any.

What has happened is that you live in a bubble, as many of us center-lefties tried to tell y’all.

What happened is that the Dem message failed to reach and resonate with voters, especially working class voters, hindered further by a weak presidential candidate with no clear vision who did not support downballot races nor reproductive rights state amendments, and a sitting president whose initial campaign told voters they were stupid or lying for being concerned about their monthly budgets.

What happened is that Dems expected their base to want to vote in line with Dick Cheney, as if we don’t remember the past 30 years.

Intelligent, patriotic Republicans (I am not one) no longer have a party, but most of them figured the MAGA party of the same name was closer than whatever Harris was trying to sell.

Trump’s education policy is to away the Department of Education which protected students with special needs and/or of low income.

While this doesn’t address special needs, it does show that we’ll only really have religious patriotic schools, so maybe there won’t be a lot of reading. It sounds like Sunday School.

They no longer have any meaning. Trump has abandoned virtually all of the principled stances that the old GOP had. It's entirely about demagoguery and the grievance of the day now.
