Culture War and the death of “Woke”

It lasted 10 years and destroyed catastrophically education, economy, families, and communities. People lost trust in each other even within families and traditional values and faiths were gone. My Chinese immigrant friends and I are all scared of this and are happy conservatives prevailed liberals in this election.

Conservatives are the ones who brought the hate, distrust and disinformation and dialed it up to 110%

The above posts re spurning traditional values have a point. According to conservative MSNBC commentator Joe Scarborough, it was the trans ad that did Harris in. We all saw that ad multiple times, even during family shows, and it had a huge impact among those who typically vote dem. Morning Joe also mentioned immigration and how Harris dropped the ball on that one.

I love how that dipshit Scarborough is now claiming he is a conservative. What a fraud.

Calling someone "woke" as a slur says more about the person saying it than it does about the so called "woke" person.

Caring about others and respecting their differences is not about a bad thing.

That's called being "tolerant" and it's the precise opposite of what the Woke Dogma and Inquisition stands for.

Conservatives are not the group behind “woke.”

Your lame attempts to “flip the script,” gaslight, and astroturf are not working anymore.

Donald Trump's decisive victory last night marked one of the greatest moments in American history. It was a moment that will be remembered, written about, discussed, and studied centuries from now. It was truly a miraculous moment. To call it miraculous is not to in any way dismiss all of the very real work that was done by so many. It is to underscore that God’s hand can be felt and seen through all of this. It was a result that showed God’s goodness and His mercy. He is giving America another chance. That’s the kind of history that was made.
It was historic not only because Trump achieved a political comeback unlike anything in American history but also because he survived multiple assassination attempts and a relentless campaign of legal attacks aimed at keeping him off the ballot and putting him behind bars.
Donald Trump’s victory marks the day Americans took back control of their country, as he himself said last night. It showed a clear mandate: after years of lies and manipulation from the corporate press, Americans have finally had enough. The media, so-called “national security experts,” and corrupt prosecutors can no longer deceive or bully the public into submission. They can cry “racism” and “fascism” all they want—it doesn’t work anymore. They can’t pretend outrage over a comedian’s joke or push candidates with no real credibility and expect Americans to fall in line.
The media’s power to shape the narrative has collapsed. Their influence, once vast, is now impotent, with them talking only to each other, cut off from the reality that Americans live every day. Trump’s victory didn’t just break through the media’s grip on public opinion; it ended it. There’s no going back.

I’m an atheist (and ignore the divine intervention parts), but I 100% agree.

A man participating in a women Olympics is more important than our environment going down the toilet, more important than lack of affordable healthcare or the crap mass food production.

Modern Americans are obese and sickly and will have much shorter life span, but sure let’s focus on gender bathrooms.

If you don’t understand one of the most fundamental elements of humanity and biology that has existed for tens of thousands of years, then you are not equipped to lead on any issues, much less climate change or food quality.

DP. You have a perverse obsession with other people's crotches

You have a perverse obsession with transing other people’s children.

Keep your sexual fetishes to yourself.

America was coming off a long period of chaos with the Vietnam War, the Civil Rights Movement, the attempt to get the ERA passed, a bunch of politicial assassinations, inflation, and watergate and America deciding to make a clear hard swing to the right.

I think this is what we are experiencing now. I don’t think it mattered all that much who the democratic candidate was. We have just had COVID, Inflation, BLM Riots, conflicts in the Middle East, High Crime, Trans Issues, and the whole Male Loneliness / men falling behind thing. America has decided that they don’t want it and have brought Trump in to “right the cultural ship”. Kamala Harris is Walter Mondale in the second election if Reagan(who had a female running mate). He lost every state except Minnesota and DC

"Woke" is a right wing construct

Just like they used CRT in 2022.

No it’s not. I live and work in a very liberal area and there is a significant amount of work brain rot stuff I am exposed to via trainings and interaction with coworkers. I am Harris voter and support progressive policies but when I am handed a piece of paper with 27 vocabulary words about gender….its just too much. The left needs to dial it back.

You're ignorant of Scarborough's history. He was a four-term Republican congressman from Florida who received a 95% rating from the American Conservative Union. He was one of the signers of Newt Gingrich's Contract with America. He had Trump call in to his show repeatedly during Trump's 2016 campaign and was very favorable to Trump until Trump made his comments about Hillary Clinton and the 2nd Amendment, which crossed a line for Scarborough. Scarborough called him out for it and Trump went ballistic on him and called him "Psycho Joe" which then turned Scarborough against him.

He was a lifelong loyal Republican with solid conservative credentials, until Trump lost him, just like how toxic Trump caused so many other lifelong Republicans to turn against him.

Wake up to the facts. This keeps happening over and over and over again. It's not them - it's Trump.

If you want to teach your kid to disrespect gay kids I cannot prevent it. I don't teach my kid to disrespect Republicans.
