Agree, they seems to all be talking about no curve instead it is equated. Everyone has a different set of questions and it shouldn’t matter what your neighbor scored. I am confused, why it takes so long for the school day results ti come back.

This is the first set with the split test though. If it is hard, more kids won't make it to level 2 and will capped on score.

What if you make it to level 2 but then do poorly on level 2?

Is it safe to assume if your math is over 700, that you havd the harder module?

Yes. The easier module is capped (I’ve seen sources say the cap is anywhere from 600 to 650) so a 700 had the harder module.

Mine got 1570. 800 verbal 770 math. Felt it was very similar in hardness to practice tests. He had a 34 and a 35 on ACT so I see this as very consistent and probably accurately curved as far as people are saying it compares against other tests.

DD reports that her in-school test on March 20 was much harder than her March 9 test. Does that mean she got the harder modules or the test overall was harder and will be equated? If she got the harder module but did more poorly, does the difficulty of the second module get equated with the first? I’m so confused by this.

I think so much of it is subjective. My junior came out of the March 9th test saying that it was hard, but not insane. I was starting to get concerned when I heard of so many kids saying it was awful. My kid checked with others and was pretty confident that they got the hard module. The test results today were on par with the practice tests and a lot better than the fall. One thing I noted is that a section that sometimes tripped them up had the full bar filled in, meaning it wasn't where they lost points. Maybe someone is a rockstar at one subsection and that happened to be on the test. So, for them, the test wasn't as hard as it was for someone else who gets confused with those questions.

yes, I thought one of the selling points of the new digital test was faster turnaround time for results.

It's a money grab: they want people to have to wait so they sign up for the next one or will miss deadline if they wait for scores. It's actually disgusting.

My kid thought the second math section was really hard, much harder than anything he'd seen in practice tests. But he got >750 on the math, so I guess it didn't go as badly as he thought! His goal was 700 and he came out of the test thinking he probably hadn't made it. He's shocked but really happy.

My kid got lower in Math , slightly higher on verbal. Kid is strong in math. Happy they are taking ACT next month.
