Can’t see scores yet but DC thought 2nd math module was incredibly hard. He’s sure he did poorly.

My kid said that too about the second math section and said everyone was talking about it. How did that show up in everyone's scores?

My kids math dropped from 770 in fall to 710 for this test. Surprising.

My daughter got a perfect score on the math PSAT and the practice test and got a 720 on this math.

Mine thought module 2 was hard, but felt it was not harder than the practice tests. Their math score went up 50 points from the fall.

Ugh, my ds checked and his are not out. His last was 1210 so no improvement would mean he isn’t even sure he could be in for our regional colleges…I hate the whole process.

Can we take colleges at their word when they say they superscore? Should we report both so they see the higher English from this test, even though the math dropped by 60 from the fall?

Yes, because schools also want to report the highest possible averages themselves, so super scores help them too.

FWIW, my kid was the same: much better in English, but 40 points worse in math.

Also very interested in this question.

Student scored higher in math in Dec and higher in R/W in March. Hope the schools will superstore between paper and digital.

Congrats. That math test was incredibly difficult.

Are you guys seeing school averages?

Yes. They don’t show them if there were fewer than five kids from your school who took the test.

DC had a perfect score on the practice test but a 700 on the March 9th test. English was about the same. Hoping the school day test the same week is better. The March 9th 2nd math module was much harder than the practice test but the school test seemed similar to it.

Are these results all from the Saturday test or are some results from a school day test?

My kid hasn't gotten an email --but I know his password and scores are up.

Looks like scores must be up overall -- In December he had a 1360 and showed national percentile as 95th. March test got 1440 and it says 95th for National and 96th for All Test takers.

That’s weird- 80 points is a very big difference.

It will be interesting to see how the March in-school scores compare to these results. DD got a 1130 on the PSAT and 1280 on the March 9 SAT, below her school average of 1300+. She prepped with Kahn for 12 hours over 8 weeks and took an 8-hour workshop. She was pretty disappointed to score below her school’s average. I reassured her she’s still in the 85th percentile nationally but that’s cold comfort when her friends are scoring better with less prep. We’ll wait to see how the in-school SAT scores come out before deciding how to prep for the June 1 test.

Darn. I sure wish she could stop now.
