For the incumbent president to lose, you’d need a *major* economic, foreign policy or domestic crisis. And probably a combination of at least two. GDP is strong, the unemployment rate is low and inflation is trending downward. Nobody has to wear masks at the grocery store any more. And say what you will about Ukraine and Israel, but not one American soldier has died in those conflicts. From that vantage point, Biden is going to be very hard to beat.

If a bunch of ignorant snowflakes are whining about how hard we are on Hamas and osama bin Laden, let them vote for trump. They’ll reap what they sow.

Any US Presidential candidate who is pro Israel will now lose. Being pro Israel is now a liability. This is what happens when you support a rogue terrorist state like Israel.

What happens when both candidates are pro-Israel?

Will not happen. Israel was an issue where the vast majority of voters(like 95%) did not care and very small number cared a lot. It was a very safe issues. Add in the lobbying organizations under the coordination of the Israel government and US politicians could be pro Israel. A pro Israel politician would receive some donations, public praise in the media/fundraising and no blow back. Notice they did not receive more votes because Israel was not an issue that drove voting. It was an issue that did not cost you anything.

That last part is very important. No blow back or negative impact because the the vast majority did not care, follow Israel issues nor want to know. Now that has changed. Biden had a 15-20% hit in his polls because of his unconditional support of Israel. Biden and Israel’s actions are inseparable. Any candidate running for president will see what happened to Biden and adjust.

The republicans side is a sh#t show and the underlying issues with with Israel will bubble up from the dark under belly of the base. You can already hear what they are saying. It’s just a matter of time before republicans turn.

Nice spin. What happened in Israel was evil. It wasn't just shooting people, but pure unadulterated acts of evil. I have a feeling so many of the pro Palestinian protesters refuse to even know what Hamas did in Israel, hiding behind a vague notion that it was just shooting bullets at people. In reality it was way more than that. Horrible things happened to people.

Anyway, you're right that there is a divide among Democrats between the wise elders like HRC and angry ignorant youths, mainly along racial grounds. To the Republican voters' credit at least least they immediately know evil for what it is. But back to an earlier point in this thread, what are those angry youths going to do? Vote for Trump? Har har.

Have you been living under a rock? We have had this already with Biden’s inflation exploding costs for everything.

Inflation’s going down, my friend. I know that makes you sad but it’s the reality.

Most things cost substantially more today than they did when Biden was inaugurated and wages have not kept pace. You can try to explain it away but anyone who goes grocery shopping knows it.

It sounds like you think the president just decides that things should cost more.

Rounds of stimulus checks followed by $1 trillion in infrastructure spending as inflation was rising. Economists were screaming that it was inflationary, but the administration argued that inflation was transitory. Everyone not invested in build back better passing saw this coming and said so at the time

Criminals who stole PPP money aside, people spent that money which improves the economy.

Should we let our infrastructure crumble? When should we pay for it?

Corporate profits at all time highs the past few years - maybe you need to direct some of your anger towards companies taking advantage the opportunity to excuse their price increases.

Biden should run on an 'inflation was necessary' platform. I'm sure it will go great

The average voter and the ones who aren’t obsessed with politics don’t give a damn about what some elites think about the conflict, and they don’t really care about conflict. The conflict in no way outweighs the other issues we have here at home.

I seriously doubt the a Trump 2nd term will be allowed ( JFK, RFK, MLK come to mind ) but I will never vote for Biden after the way he has enabled the most hate filled R wing gov't in Israel's history to commit genocide and try to expel all Palestinians from their land

I think the biggest threat to the world's future is the surveillance state created by USA & Israel together after 9/11 coupled with their new toy: AI

I urge all young people ( 35 and younger) put forward your own candidates , not just for POTUS, but for every seat in Congress & the Senate. It is ridiculous that we have 80 year old buffoons and bought and paid for corrupt politicians dictating that your future will be penned in by : continued school shootings, endless cycles of war in Middle East ( because , hey, it keeps the profits going at Lockheed, Boeing and Northrup ) , no health care and no college education for anyone .

Just vote the f'ers all out

Lol 😂.

I’m a 34yo biden supporter and am appalled by the “youth” embrace of Hamas, extreme left “woke” politics, and the general victimhood narrative that have reframed every part of our culture into an oppressed vs oppressor narrative. It’s gotten tired. I don’t want right or left wing extremism. I will personally be supporting biden and will be hoping squad members get crushed. Bernie sanders is the only member of the squad I can tolerate at this point and that’s because he’s actually useful and smart- not just an outraged, self-interested mouthpiece on Twitter like the rest of the squad.
