I believe these women. He has always grossed me out. He is not stupid, but nowhere near as smart and profound as he thinks he is. He is the type to overwhelm people with word sandwiches that make little sense and then proclaim himself to he some sort of savant.

My guess is the Hollywood left has known about this behavior for years and turned a blind eye as long as he was profitable and part of left wing politics. The minute he became popular with the right, all of a sudden the accusations had to come out.

I 100% believe the women, but also believe many in the industry protected him for years.

UK-based Canadian comic Katherine Graham worked with Brand back in the day and there are reports that she basically flagged this without naming names years ago. She also called brand out during a show but it was edited out.

I was part of the UK comedy world until about 2010. This is no surprise to me at all. I think next in line for this kind of big take-down will be David Walliams, for similar behaviors.

What I am curious to know is what is the outcome of all this? I don't think he can be prosecuted in the same way Weinstein was prosecuted. Or can he? Is it just a move to cancel?
