Bombshell joint reporting between Sunday Times, The Times, and Channel 4 (UK publications).

Five women independently accuse Brand of rape and sexual assault. One was a 16 year-old at the time Brand was 31. When the girl’s mother tried to intervene and express concern, Brand sexually assaulted the mother in front of the girl.

I guess we now know why Brand tacked to the rightwing.

IIRC, he dumped her. She was blindsided by his decision to leave the marriage.

I saw the report that he was trying to get ahead of this within the last 24 hours saying some accusations were coming, though he didn't reveal the nature of those accusations.
