Anyone else only wear skirts or dresses, every day?

I wear shift dresses and wrap dresses to work, and casual dresses for everyday. You can change the look of each easily depending on shoe and layering (cardigan, jean or leather jacket, blazer). It’s also easier to look more out together and also makes it seem as though you’re putting more effort into your appearance (although I personally find it more challenging matching tops and bottoms).

I love dresses.

+1. I'm also a petite hourglass, but short-waisted. Dresses make the most of my figure, so I wear them most of the time.

Why are you skeptical? NP but I actually only ever wear pants in the summer. I don’t really wear jeans but I like flowy lightweight pants that are summer only. Winter is dresses and skirts all season unless I’m very casual in leggings.

Why am I skeptical? Is that even a real question? Go outside on a snowy or brutally cold day. How many people are wearing skirts and dresses?

Lots of people do this. I do it all the time. Boots, fleece leggings, wool dress, long coat. It's one of my favorite looks in the winter.

I wear dresses almost exclusively. Lots of sheath style dresses at work (with tights and blazers/cardigans in winter) and looser stuff outside of work.

It's comfortable, you look put-together without much thought, and it's fast.

I have some jeans and leggings, of course. I hate shorts and wear skorts because my legs are a little thicker.

Same. I would find it very annoying to tuck pants into my tall snow boots.

In the summer I am 100% flowy dresses. They are so much more comfortable that shorts and a tank that cling to skin in this hot awful weather.

In the summer I do, because I don't like wearing shorts.

Summer I wear lots of linen dresses and sundresses. Winter, almost never. Tights aren’t warm enough and winter casual dresses are pretty ugly anyhow.

I only wear dresses to weddings.

Why?
Jeans are pretty sexy if you have a good booty.

We don't get that much snow here. Very few people are outside for more than a few seconds when it is cold snow. You are going from a house with heat, to a car with heat, to a business or other house with heat.

This isn't new york where you are walking multiple places frequently, or walking in slush or snow.

NP, even if you aren’t outside, I don’t find tights warm enough at all, even inside the house. Nor are tights all that comfortable. No way I would want to wear tights all day around my house. I’m in a northern state, and I need more layers than tights and a long sleeve dress.

Do you not shovel your driveway? Help an elderly neighbor?

I found that when I had little kids I wanted to be active and not wearing skirts to the playground. And in the winter, pants make much more sense for the cold.

So while I could see this in warmer months, it doesn't make sense for about 6 months out of the year here.
