Double gross. 1. They stink. 2. Sitting out? Ugh. Good luck. |
You may be aware of this, but there are round trays with egg shaped depressions that you can buy to hold deviled eggs. I think that they sell plastic ones at party stores and more attractive ones online. They’re still slippery, but more manageable and presentable. |
| Another vote for mini quiches or a dip. My dips are usually huge hits at parties.. sometimes vegetarian ones are the safest bet, like a spinach artichoke or a homemade carmelised onion. Interesting salads are always a big hit too. |

If it’s a group of fairly normal eaters, homemade French onion dip (rehydrated dried minced onion and beef Better n Bouillon in sour cream) and ridged potato chips gets devoured.
The icy dieters I live around would just glance at it witheringly so I agree: know your audience. |
You don't have a deviled egg carrier? I'm serious. Look into getting one. |

Things I’ve made in the past year that people finished:
- caprese skewers - the controversial jelly meatballs - phyllo cups with Brie and fig jam - ham and cheese sliders using the King’s Hawaiian rolls/recipe |
| For dessert I like those frozen cream filled pastry balls. People love them! They come in a square plastic container with and without chocolate covering. |
| Clearly if you cannot feature it on the Gram, you should never bring it! |

Korean fried chicken. Super, super fool proof and it tastes awesome. Finger licking good and is finished in the first 15 minutes each time.
It tastes good even if it is not warm. |
| Homemade mango icecream. It goes fast. |

I have chickens so usually bring farm-fresh deviled eggs with smoked paprika and chives. They always get eaten.
Cheese/charcuterie/olives are popular as well. Guac and chips (I like the Rosa Mexicano recipe). Spiced and candied pecans are easy and popular. |
It's true. Hebrew National or Trader Joe's. I'm super stuffy and uptight but those things are awesome. |
If by smelly you mean smells delicious. What’s wrong with you?? |

PP’s who defended my smoked salmon idea - thank you! It’s one of the most delicious foods l can think of, and easy!!
It’s not like I’m microwaving fish or something. |
