No way, not with a split Senate. Any D candidate over any R. |
Yes- how is Raskin different from Perez in terms of who his supporters would be in a Dem primary? Both are Takoma Park progressives who have been fixtures in Dem party for a while. |
It’s this type of mindset that does nothing for swing voters like me. I’m not going to vote D blindly, or for someone like AOC, just because of the balance in the Senate. |
| I perceive Hogan as fiscally conservative and socially liberal, so he has my vote. |
It's not voting blindly, it's voting with your eyes wide open to the political realities today. |
Thank goodness young voters don’t buy this be anymore. This is the attitude holding our country back from fixing any actual problems. |
|
Raskin gets so rattled in every committee meeting when a witness doesn’t kiss ass.
He loses his shit every time. |
you think people on Baltimore And pg county eoykd vote for him in the general let alone the primary ? |
In the general, yes. PG county is not voting Republican. |
+1. I think they are both good. I can vote either unless senate is 50/50 |
I agree Baltimore City and PG County aren't voting Republican, but it's possible they wouldn't show up to vote if they don't care about the candidate. |
Oh, wow, you must know him! |
| Unless raskin can win the primary without Baltimore and PG county I don’t see how he’s even going to win the nomination |
Raskin is a bit like Hoyer. A big deal in DC, but could never win a statewide primary in MD. |
but will they vote for raskin in the primary ? Can he win without that? |
