If he is the nominee I will begrudgingly vote for him.
There needs to be an age limit on running for president. If there can be a rule requiring people to be 35 in order to be president, there should be a rule for when you're too old. That isn't ageist, it's common sense. |
Oh please. He’s going to run, and he’ll probably win. People will vote for him because he is a safe bet, just like last time. Start think about who who You want after his second term. |
| Biden vs Trump is the election America deserves. |
I don't think there's anything "safe" about electing an 80 year man as president. |
FWIW Donald Trump’s father Fred lived to be 94 years old. Donald is only 76. |
And what a fine, fit, healthy seeming 76 year old he seems to be. |
| Biden is our benevolent grandpa president. |
Why not? As long as he has a good VP. |
Fred wasn’t obese and facing the stress of dozens of different investigations and lawsuits for felonies as he approached his 80s. He was actually a successful businessman with plenty of money. He wasn’t widely despised in every nation on earth. |
Just saying that Trump will definitely be healthy enough to do a lot of damage if Republicans give the nomination to DeSantis. |
|
I'd love a new Dem candidate, but we likely won't do anything to bring forward a quality person so I will vote for Biden again.
I hate Desantis. |
There’s not time to cultivate another candidate for 2024. There is time for 2028. |
| I'm one of the few who has grown to love Joe and he deserves a ton of credit for saving our country (so far), but I think it's time to pass the baton on to a younger candidate. |
| I hope Gretchen Whitmer runs |
It just doesn’t work like that though. If the economy is good, you stick with the incumbent president. If not, well it doesn’t really matter because you’re going to lose anyway. |
