Wow...congrats to BASIS DC...they rocked the PARCC. I guess that distance learning during the pandemic must have been good.
For example, looking at ELA, 90.38% of the 9th grade class at BASIS DC scored 4 or 5 (this is after the kids had been at BASIS DC for at least 4 years). For math, 77.36% scored 4 or 5. In comparison, take Washington Latin. Looking at ELA there, 63.83% of the 9th grade class scored 4 or 5. For math, 21.43%-62.5% of the class (depending on the test) scored 4 or 5. It doesn't look like any other school came close to BASIS DC's PARCC scores. |

This comparison is a bit off since many of these schools start in 5th grade and the kids are mostly be tested at what they learned at their prior schools. |

+1. I would want to look at 4th grade knowing that 5th grade has a lot of attrition and backfilling. 4th is not the first year of testing, but without all of the 5th grade shuffling. |

Yep. For example, Yu Ying goes through 5th grade; BASIS and Latin start in 5th grade. |
