Freya - love Thea (maybe short for Theodora) - love, but do it as a stand alone Lyra - love, really unique, but people will struggle with pronunciation (wouldn't stop me though) Flora (or maybe Florence and either Flora/Flory for nn?) - I know two baby girl Floras, may be getting overdone Isla - pretty, but people will not pronounce correctly Ayla - torn on this one, like it but I think I like Lyra better Others I love (most have been suggested already): Lola Zara Lyla Kyra Mirah (Meer-ah, not Mye-rah) Vera Willa Malia Minka Sasha Nina Perla Rosa Not really in your theme but you may like: Georgia Talia Samara Saskia |

Freya - I love this one, too, and I’ve only heard it for one other girl (who is 8) Thea (maybe short for Theodora) - Not a fan. Thea feels unfinished to me plus has multiple accepted pronunciations which I’d find irritating. Whereas Theodora is one of those names you will almost never use as a full name. I’d look for a stronger short name instead. Lyra — Adore. I love the Golden Compass books. Flora (or maybe Florence and either Flora/Flory for nn?) — cute but I don’t like it as much as other options and feel about the longer names as I do about Theodora— meh Isla — getting overdone, will be hard for some to pronounce Ayla — same pronunciation issues as Isla/Thea but I like it more than either of those Some to consider: Hero Hera Ione Rhea Diana |

I really dislike Freya- sounds old lady and frumpy to me. Others on your list are fine.
Please don't name your kid Hero, as suggested by a PP? that is insane, and a recipe for getting bullied. my DD has a friend named Collette and I LOVE that name, seems classic but modern at the same time. |

Your list ranges from weird to try-hard. Don’t saddle your kid with a weird name or try-hard name with a vibe they might not live up to. Overall, you seem to prefer feminine names that end in A. Consider other names that fall into that category but are a bit more classic. Think: lovely.
