I mean, the people supporting the smearing of DFER, a d all of the innuendo, were during business hours. I guess unions are allowed to hang out on DCUM but DFER isnt.

One does not need to smear DFER in order to tarnish Goulet. His words as reported do that enough.
There is no reason to question his character. He has revealed it for all to read and hear. |
Which is a totally different thread. |
See the City Paper. |
DFER is openly supporting Goulet. |
Look at their funding sources: https://dferdinos.com/ |
Follow the links. Funding sources are funding sources. Or are you saying the state level filings are false? |
Do you have a source that is not the teachers unions, DFER's main political rival? |
Are you not receiving a mailer per day from DFER DC in support of Goulet? |
No, I haven't received any mailers regarding Goulet. But do you have a source that is a good source? |
A source for what? Receiving a ton of Goulet mailers send by DFER DC? |

The teachers union has backed Matt Frumin in the Ward 3 race. Though I don't love how they attempted to shut schools back down, I also really dislike how Goulet's campaign has been run and the way that DFER interferes with local politics. There are lots of choices that are not backed by either of these groups, though! I'm voting for Tricia Duncan in Ward 3. She has one kid at a public school and one at a charter and understands how we need to approach fixing our city's education system from all sides. That's why she supports building the two new public schools in Ward 3 at Foxhall and Palisades, something both Goulet and Frumin have not been supportive of. |
Goulet is not a public school parent. I am not a single issue voter but education/schools are important to me and this gives me pause. |
I am supporting Frumin. He has a more nuanced approach to the education issue that makes a lot of sense to me. But he is also better on issues like transportation and affordable housing than the others. |
