If anyone says a goddamn thing about mental health I will explode. He’s sane as a judge.

And nobody reported this guy or said anything?!?! Come on, people.

His high school classmates called the cops on him last year.

I can’t imagine what it must feel like to be this teenager’s parents. I won’t make any assumptions about their parenting but just always feel some sympathy when these stories break for the parents siblings and other close relatives of the shooter, what a horror it must also be to grapple with these events from that side of things.

Why? Save your sympathy for the real victims.

Who gives a rats a$$? Children don’t grow in a vacuum. I hope the affected families sue the pants off these people.

They absolutely have blood on their hands.

They need to be held accountable for this.

Wow. Did they cheer him on or did they call the cops?

Only in America.

The reason this does not happen in wealthy democratic European and Asian nations is that they have strict gun control laws!!!

Gun control.

Time to behave like civilized country already.

This does happen in other countries.

And have a “news” show.

I also believe this is true.

I’m just so tired of all of it. There is nothing left to say on this issue.

No. We need to start voting.

We've been voting for years. What has that done?

The killer learned his hate from his parents, I have no doubt. Teens from compassionate, empathetic, loving homes, don’t slaughter people.

If there was a case opened on him a year ago, why was he dealt with under NY’s red flag law? Is there a hole in the system or was it just not used? This seems like exactly what the red flag laws are designed for.

This guy is 18 and apparently in June 2021, less than a year ago, his high school called the police because he had said to other classmates that he wanted to do a mass shooting at a graduation ceremony or st school and in general threatened violence. Police in estates snd then referred him to a mental health evaluation and counseling. So this was not out of the blue, this was a mentally troubled man who has been threatening violence and apparently there was no follow up and he was still able to buy weapons

He’s not “mentally troubled.” He is a violent racist who chose to murder people. Don’t you dare ducking equate this with a brain illness.

Gun laws are part of it.
But Americans are really a special kind of crazy.
